Film Offaly was established under the auspices of Offaly County Council to facilitate the production of film in the midlands county. Its brief also includes the fostering of education in film matters particularly for young people. Although still in its formative years, Film Offaly has already established a resource website - filmoffaly.ie - to make film producers aware of the advantages it holds as a production location.
